A ragtag group of band kids deal with high school, rehearsals and fighting monsters!
Tsu, Mie Prefecture. It is 2016.
Small, chaotic manifestations of emotions. They individually contribute notes to form a song that agitates, and amplifies insecurities. They feed on this negativity and multiply, improving their song and worsening everyone's mental states. And what's a better target than already emotionally unstable high schoolers. They are invisible in the real world and people are unaware that they are getting affected by the songs... but maybe one day they'll actually show up in the real world. Moving onto...
The trio are able to open up a portal into the "audio" plane. It's an uninhabited replica of the real world, where the sirens are visible and the song is diegetic. Traversing through the portal gives them their uniform and transforms their instruments into a weapon...
Subjected to change. (It has changed a bit since conception lol.)
This is the only time you will catch Hina in a skirt.
High energy blast! I guess they are technically just laser guns but stylised as colonial firearms.
The blast neutralises the sirens, removing their contribution to the song. They can make proper music with
their shots if they tried hard enough, but just don't care enough most of the time.
The abilities/weapon sort of align with their personality traits (or what they strive to be like):
> Hina's allows her to get up close and is rather simple to use. It's loud and reliable, perfect for someone
who likes to put on a show.
> Miki's forces her to get her to get up close. It's loud and messy, conflicting with her usual personality.
But that's who she wants to be.
> Yūki's allows him to not be in the spotlight. It's precise and efficient. He just wants to get the job
done without making a fuss.
