i cannot believe this is happening. welp i guess we're friends again. i'm a little taken aback by how normal(?) she seems though - it's like the past 3 years just didn't happen. i thought that she'd hate my guts or something considering i never explained myself. i was just stupid. maybe she knows. she's still just as annoying though... unfortunately... and it's drawing the attention of my other friends. they speak ill of her. i do try to get them to stop though. she also introduced me to her friend from junior high, might as well get to know her if we're in the same club.

i have discovered that i need glasses, and that i have needed them for years. i thought a little blur was normal and that everyone saw the world like this. don't think i'm gonna wear them outside of the classroom though. i look... different.

i've been thinking about quitting the club since i joined. my other friends have been bullying me ever since it's like i can't do anything without somebody commenting on it. akira is telling me to "just ignore it" and that "it's just a joke" but i feel like some of them genuinely mean the words they say. hiro did talk me out of it though. i'm gonna miss him when he retires.

found out that miki is also a fan! i find talking to her to be a lot easier than other people.

2015

my sister seems really unwell. i've never seen her like this before. she says it's just stress due to exams but there's no way it can be this bad. i wish there was something that i could do to help her. i know that she's pretty hard on herself academically and in her extracurriculars. she thinks something's wrong with the air here and so did mari. i'm not sure what she means by that, but if she thinks leaving will do her good, then i support her. ... it might be awkward, but i think i'll try and have a talk with mari next time she comes over.

well, that was a truth bomb and a half. i also can't believe she just straight up told me something like that. i think i want in on this though. if it means i can help prevent what's happening with my sister, then i want in.

talked to mari again about it. she needed my flute... interesting but sure.
